Most nights we try to persuade this little princess to sleep in her own bed. But as you can see, our tactics fail each time. She has that dad of hers wrapped around her finger as she only wants to sleep in his arms..not mine (which is fine by me..I have the 5 month old to deal with...who is finally sleeping in her crib..for a while there, that king bed was a godsend...sleeping 4 of us). We try to tell ourselves that in 20 years when our kids are all grown and gone that we might miss these nights. Which seems unlikely but very possible. So we try to remember that this won't last forever. She won't always want to sleep with us. So for now..in this moment of time, we will try to love it and the less than perfect sleep we get.

Agree with you all the way.
I've never kicked my kids out.
I will miss it when they are done with it.
I kinda love that her princess pillow is there amongst your adult bedding! So sweet!
